A hand-knotted Persian area rug. This wool rug offers an all-over herati pattern worked in navy, burnt orange, ivory, ecru and mint green. Framing the field are barber pole and lobed cruciform meander guard borders. It boasts a wide samovar main border grounded in burnt orange. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing with a kilim skirt and ivory warp fringe at either end. Unlabeled.
