1959 Ice Hockey World Championship Commemorative Glass Trophy
Item Details
A glass trophy, in commemoration of the 1959 Ice Hockey World Championship in Prague, Czech Republic. The octagonal form vase is etched to the front side with a cityscape of Prague and the text, ‘Mistrovství Světa a Evropy, V Lednim Hokeji, Praha 1959 (World and European Championship in Ice Hockey, Prague, 1959).’ And below that reads, ‘Venuje Ministerstvo Vnitra (The Ministry of Interior).’ Panels of etched floral swag flank either side of the text.
