A pen and ink drawing on paper titled Le Port de Marsaille by Armenian artist Richard Jeranian (born 1921). This drawing utilizes a geometric arrangement of cross-hatched lines that come together to depict a crowded harbor of tugboats. It is signed to the lower right, titled to the lower center, and has a hand-written label to the verso. The work is presented behind a white mat and glass in a gold tone metal frame with wire to the verso for hanging.

Born in Armenia and exiled to France at a young age, Richard Jeranian studied at the Académie Julian and at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière. He is known for his colorful expressionistic landscapes and his work can be found in both private and public collections such as the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts, the National Gallery of Armenia, and the Gala Art Gallery.
