A Chinese watercolor and ink painting of a bird standing on a flowering branch. This piece depicts the bird, captured in black and blue, with its head in profile, gripping the textured bark of a flowering branch. This work has a block of Chinese characters to its upper right corner, along with a red signature seal, and has a light bluish and taupe silk brocade border. It is mounted on grey board, framed under glass and has a wire on verso for hanging.
