A group of seven pieces of sterling silver table and flatware. This assortment features a pierced nut dish by Alvin Manufacturing Co. with floral and dotted swag openwork around the sides, as well as a scroll and beaded rim. The underside is stamped with the Alvin maker’s mark, along with ‘Sterling’ and ‘481’. The dish is accompanied by six sterling silver spoons, including a souvenir Minnesota spoon by Mechanics Sterling Co., a Joseph Mayer & Bros. souvenir New York spoon decorated in roses, a Fessenden & Co. George Washington Presidential spoon, a Gorham spoon in a vine pattern, a Victor Seidman Mfg. Co with a Native American chief head, and a T.C. Tanke souvenir Buffalo, New York spoon. Each piece is tested or hallmarked as sterling silver and the total approximate weight is 5.880 ozt.
