Antique 800 Silver Spoons with Weighted Sterling Bowl and Coin Silver Knife

A selection of three antique 800 silver spoons with other silver. This group includes a large Dutch spoon with a repoussé figural bowl and finial, as well as the coat of arms of Amsterdam on the stem, a British spoon by Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & Francis Shepherd with a chased scrolled foliate bowl and foliate handle, and a German spoon with a figural finial. The Dutch spoon is stamped for 1904 and the British is stamped with the maker’s mark, along side marks for London, sterling, and 1902; although this spoon is marked for sterling, it tested as 800 silver. The German spoon is stamped with the crown and crescent moon hallmarks, alongside an unidentified maker’s mark and ‘800’. The total approximate 800 silver weight is 4.230 ozt. The lot also includes an International Silver Co. weighted sterling mayonnaise bowl and a pocket knife featuring an engraved scrolled foliate design, stamped ‘Coin’ to the blade.
