An ancient Egyptian style gouache painting on papyrus. This work depicts Tutankhamun’s death mask rendered in rich hues of blue, red, gold tones. A vibrant blue is used for the beard. This work is signed ‘Abo Aria’ to the lower right. A stamp that reads ‘Aigyptos Papurus, Guirguis Collection, Cairo, Egypt’ is on the verso. It is presented float mounted behind glass in a gold tone wood frame. Hanging hardware is present to the verso.
