Vintage Gothic Style Sessions Westminister Chime Mantel Clock

Item Details

A Gothic style Sessions Westminister Chime mantel clock. The clock is circa 1940 and features an abbey design with a hand carved mahogany wood case and decorative spire finials on the sides of a curved bonnet. The clock features a brass frame and glass cover that display a white metal face with raised black Arabic numbers accented with gilded trim and black serpentine hands with a minute dial on the six-hour marker. Other features of the clock include an 8-day Westminister chime movement, a door and an electrical cord on the verso and the clock stands on a plinth style base with bracket feet. The clock is labeled ‘Sessions’ on the face.
