A Chinese watercolor and ink painting of a flycatcher perched on a branch. This piece depicts the bird, captured in black and orange, with its back toward the viewer and its head in profile, gripping the textured bark of a dogwood tree. This work has a block of Chinese characters to its upper right corner, along with a red signature seal. It is framed, double matted and under glass with wire on verso for hanging.

Condition

Minor markings throughout, fold line in silk.
