A 1958 lithograph film poster on paper advertising Robert Youngson’s 1957 movie titled The Golden Age of Comedy, created after a design by listed graphic artist Tom Jung (American, born 1942). The theatrical poster depicts illustrated versions of the movie’s stars to the left side of the print, with the film’s title and credits printed to the right. The unsigned poster includes a mention to the lower right of recently won Academy Awards; it is additionally marked to the lower left with a release number of ‘58/106’ and a notation of ‘1958, Ben Adler Advertising Service’ to the lower center. The piece is presented unframed.
