A mid-century hand-colored photograph after Thomas. The piece depicts a mountain landscape scene, with a forest of evergreens set against snow-capped peaks and pale blue skies. The image is signed ‘Thomas’ in plate to the lower right. It is presented under glass in a vintage wooden frame with gold tone moulded embellishments, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- discoloration and toning to image; accretion present under glass; warping to paper; nicks, scratches and edge wear to frame, with cracks to moulding; wear and stains to frame verso; frame joints are not fully flush.
