Edwardian Secretary with Leaded Glass

Item Details

A vintage, circa 1920s, Edwardian secretary. It is made of light hardwoods, featuring crown molding above a pair of leaded glass doors. The doors have colorful glass including some textured glass, and the interior of the cabinet is fitted with two solid wood shelves. This glass-front cabinet rests atop a slant-front secretary desk, featuring a hinged lid that opens to reveal the desk top and a variety of divided compartments. The desk top rests on a pair of pull-out supports with round wood knobs, which flank a pair of small dovetailed drawers, above two full-length dovetailed drawers. The drawers are fitted with oval brass tone metal handles, and the glass front doors have pierced pendant pulls. The secretary rests on bracket feet, and there are no maker’s marks.
