The 1992 Albertville, France, Winter Olympics included venues in nearby towns, including the ice hockey contests held in the Ice Palace arena in nearby Méribel. The artist’s in-plate signature is present to the lower right of the illustrated image. The poster bears a plate mark and is enhanced by blind embossing, and is presented under glass in a blue composite wood frame with a gold-tone liner.
