A pairing of art glass paperweights from The House of Glass. Included is an egg shaped paperweight by Joe Rice. The clear piece encases multicolor flowers with controlled bubble centers and is finished with seeded accents. It bears an impressed logo to the base, dated 1991. This piece is accompanied by a paperweight by Bob St. Clair. The piece is cased with multicolor ribbons of glass, accented with controlled bubbles. It is marked with an impressed logo to the base. French glassblower John St. Clair opened an art glass factory in Elwood, Indiana in 1938, working with his sons Bob and Joe. His grandson, Joe Rice, renamed the factory The House of Glass in 1987, which continues to operate today.
