A pair of antique hand-painted Deldare plates by Buffalo Pottery, circa 1908, Ye Town Crier. Each features a hand-painted vignette of a town crier profering an announcement, watched by a man and woman in a town square landscape. The rims feature a detailed landscape of village or town architecture. All colors are bright with a clear gloss glaze overall. They are marked to the underside. They are stamp marked to the underside ‘Made at ye Buffalo Pottery / 1908 / Deldare Ware / Underglaze’. They are presented on wire spring plate display hangers.
