Constance Bonotto was born in 1899 in Turin, Italy and trained at the Polytechnic Institute of Turin where she graduate at the age of seventeen. In the years following World War I, Constance studied oil painting under well known Italian Impressionist Giovanni Guarlotti and was inspired to paint rapidly from life to capture the mood and light of the moment.

Condition

- minor scuffing to the finish on the frame; discoloration to the canvas board verso; varnish discoloration, concentrated in the lower right corner; cuts to the canvas surface along the left edge.
