Constance Bonotto was born in Turin, Italy and trained at the Polytechnic Institute of Turin where she graduate at the age of seventeen. In the years following World War I, Constance studied oil painting under well known Italian Impressionist Giovanni Guarlotti and was inspired to paint rapidly from life to capture the mood and light of the moment.

Condition

- accretion and small black stains scattered throughout composition; areas of discoloration and toning to painting; stains, debris and discoloration to frame’s fillet and canvas liner; edge wear, nicks, scuffs and marks throughout frame; frame does not include backing paper; exposed nails to frame verso.
