This painting depicts two of the aforementioned fruit split in half with its central seed in view, which are both rendered in a stenciled manner featuring green, brown and black tones. To the lower right corner is a monogrammed artist signature appearing to read ‘HP’. The painting is wrapped over a wooden stretcher with an illegible, dated signature to the verso.

- wear to edges of painting; small flecks of paint lost to upper canter and lower left edges of painting.
