Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian room size rug. This wool pile rug offers a floral medallion to the center of a densely populated rich crimson field. It features large flower sprays in vases which have been worked in hues of blue, ivory, aqua, onyx, rose and camel. Framing the rug are multiple borders including carnation meander and stylized floral designs. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing with ivory warp fringe at either end. It is labeled with a tag to the verso indicating country of origin.
