Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian Malayer wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in an abrashed palette of salmon, mocha, rose, ivory, sage, sky blue, and sand. The salmon hued field begins with a lobed pendant medallion in a floral theme, and it features flower filled vases, and bouquets, as well as ornate mocha grounded spandrels. Framing the field is a main leaf and blossom border, along with carnation meander guard borders, and a sawtooth minor border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is labeled to the underside.
