A hand-knotted Moroccan Boucherouite area rug. This shag pile rug is comprised of cotton scraps with a woven wool ground. The design of this rug features an over-all checkered pattern in array of colors ranging from pastels to bold crimson and black. Finishing this rug are double overcast selvedges and a braided wool warp fringe to one end, while the other is bound. Unlabeled.
