Signed Ardmore Ceramics Hand Painted Art Pottery Console Bowl and Book

A signed handmade Ardmore Ceramics console bowl. The oval shaped bowl has hand painted decoration featuring a cheetah with a blue long necked bird in its mouth and African flowers in rich colors on a white ground to the interior. It has hand painted flowers and leaves to the exterior and applied sculpted ceramic decoration to the rim including a cheetah chasing a blue bird on opposite sides and flowers to either end. The bowl is marked ‘Made by NHlanHia PTO by Marainqh Ardmore Studio’ to the underside. In addition, this pairing includes a 1998 printing of Ardmore: An African Discovery by Gillian Scott, published by Fernwood Press.
