An 1894 edition of Jane Austen’s classic novel Pride and Prejudice, featuring black-and-white illustrations after pen-and-ink drawings by Hugh Thomson. Published by George Allen of London in 1894, the book features over fifty illustrations of the story as well as numerous decorative chapter headings. The volume has three gilt edges and is bound in dark green cloth on board with elaborate gilt cover and spine decoration in a peacock-feather motif.
