An oil painting on gessoed paper titled Midnight by Miguel Lino de la Fuente. This nonobjective composition features layers of translucent washes of blue and orange. The interaction of mottled colors creates a seemingly organic texture. The unsigned work is titled and attributed to de la Fuente on a label adhered to the verso. The painting is presented with a white mat in a white wooden frame with hanging brackets and an easel style table stand to the verso.

Cuban-born Miguel Lino de la Fuente is an abstract impressionist painter and printmaker whose art is held in the collections of several major institutions including the Brooklyn HIstorical Society, Brooklyn Museum,The Montclair Art Museum, The New York Public Library and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. He studied at Art Students League of New York, the Fashion Institute of Technology (NYC), The New School (NYC) and Brooklyn College and has been widely exhibited at galleries across the United States.
