A manuscript document signed by Patriot Oliver Wolcott. This handwritten document is presented beneath glass, black matting, and encompassed by a black and gold tone frame with hanging wire affixed to its verso. The document is signed by Patriot, former Governor of Connecticut, and signer of the Declaration of Independence, Oliver Wolcott. The document dated August 21, 1777 was written during Wolcott’s time as an assistant to the Connecticut General Assembly by William Pitkin and signed by both parties. Hartford, August 21, 1777. MDS 1 page, small 4to. The piece is accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication.
