Vintage Chinese Enameled Ceramic Boxes
Item Details
A pairing of vintage Chinese ceramic vanity boxes. The boxes feature painted enamel designs depicting birds on flowering branches on pale green or bright blue ground ending in black borders. The rectangular box is marked ‘made in China/hand painted in Macau’ while the oval box has a red production stamp to the underside.
Condition
- marks to undersides; discoloration; hairline crack to bottom of trinket box, staining to interior; rectangular box not suitable for food use.
