Antique Whiting Sterling Silver "King Edward" Gravy Ladle
Item Details
An antique sterling silver gravy ladle by the Whiting Manufacturing Company in the King Edward pattern, first patented in 1901 and designed by Charles Osborne. The handle is adorned with shell motifs, scrolled acanthus leaves, and bleeding heart flowers. To the verso, it is marked with the Whiting lion hallmark, ‘Sterling’, and ‘Pat. AP. 23.1901’. The approximate weight is 3.350 ozt.
