A Cleveland Indians 1940 signed baseball. There are twenty-five signatures, they are: Ray Mack, Lou Boudreau, Bob Feller, Beau Bell, Harry Eisenstat, Ben Chapman, Ossie Vitt (signed twice, once on the ‘sweet spot’ and on a panel), Rollie Hemsley, Jeff Heath, Johnny Bassler, Joe Dobson (very faded), Al Milnar (very faded), Ken Keltner (very faded), Oscar Melillo, Odel Hale, Mel Harder, Johnny Allen, Soup Campbell, Luke Sewell, Mike Naymick, Hank Helf, Ken Jungels, Hal Trosky (partially gone) and the bat boy Lefty Weisman. Bob Feller pitched a no-hitter on opening day in 1940, to this day it’s the only opening day no-hitter in Major League baseball history. The signatures have not been authenticated nor have they been checked for ‘club house’ signatures. The ball’s manufacturer is not visible.
