A hand-colored etching on fabric of the Chartres Cathedral interior, by listed French artist Charles Maurice (1883-1908). This work features a truncated view of the east end around the choir, with hand-coloring throughout the stained glass windows. Smaller images of the cathedral facades are present in the lower corners of the etching. The work is signed by hand in graphite to the lower center; it is numbered 227 out of an edition of 350 along the lower plate edge. It is presented under glass with off-white matting in a vintaged carved wood frame.

- minor toning along plate edges; toning throughout frame; minor scratches and finish loss scattered throughout frame.
