Hand-Knotted Persian Hamadan Carpet Runner

Item Details

A hand-knotted Persian carpet runner attributed to weavers of the Hamadan region. This wool rug is hand-knotted in a palette of midnight blue, crimson, teal, bright yellow, pink, white,ocher,burgundy, and black. It has a diamond shaped medallion on a deep blue colored field patterned with flowers. It is framed with a carnation meander border. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. It is unlabeled.

Condition

- the rug is in good condition, however, the rug is 38" at one side and 44" wide on the other side.
