An abstract charcoal and pastel drawing on paper by South African artist Hargreaves Ntukwana (1938-1998). This piece depicts a large figure holding a smaller figure in its arms, a large sun hanging low in the sky behind them. This work is signed ‘H. Ntukwana’ toward its lower right and is double-matted under glass in a wooden frame with a hanging wire to its verso.
