A reproduction poster after the original designed for Elvis Presley’s September 1956 appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show. The poster is set in black and red and reads ‘The Ed Sullivan Show/Direct From New York City/Presents: Elvis Presley/Live on Stage/Sept. 10-1956/See & Hear Elvis Sing His Hit Songs: _Don’t Be Cruel, Hound Dog, Love Me Tender._’ There is a halftone illustration of the singer along the right side of the composition, which is mounted in black poster frame with a hanging wire to its verso.

Condition

- fair; surface abrasions and scuffs along right side and lower left; residue on ground at lower left; gap in frame at top right corner; general wear to frame; indentations and scuff marks throughout backing of frame.
