A portrait in colored pencil titled Vivian James by contemporary artist Li Fu. This piece depicts a girl looking over her shoulder, wearing traditional Tibetan style attire. The work is signed, dated 2013 and titled toward the lower edge of the image. It is presented unframed.
Born in 1968, Li Fu is the daughter of acclaimed photographer Chunfang Fu (pen name: Dong Fu) and spent 30 years herself as the personal photographer to artist Wu Guanzhong. Her career has also seen her serve 5 years as an art instructor and as an art writer for multiple Chinese publications, including the Huron Report magazine. Fu is known both for her oils and acrylics, as well as her ballpoint pen and pencil drawings.
