A self portrait in pencil by Li Fu. This piece depicts the artist in one point perspective, rendered in light gray tones. The work is signed and dated 2015 to the lower right. It is presented unframed.

Born in 1968, Li Fu is the daughter of acclaimed photographer Chunfang Fu (pen name: Dong Fu) and spent 30 years herself as the personal photographer to artist Wu Guanzhong. Her career has also seen her serve 5 years as an art instructor and as an art writer for multiple Chinese publications, including the Huron Report magazine. Fu is known both for her oils and acrylics, as well as her ballpoint pen and pencil drawings.
