A 19th-century oil painting on canvas western landscape scene, signed “C.L.O.” and dated ’89. Depicted is a landscape of Green Lake in Georgetown, Colorado at an altitude of 10,000 ft. The work is signed twice by the artist in the lower right, one appearing to have been painted over and the more prominent displaying a monogram and date. The work is remains unframed. Initialed to the verso.

Condition

- to fair: paint loss to the lower left corner, upper right, and throughout the edges; color has faded.
