A mid century oil painting on canvas by an anonymous artist depicting a rural Scandinavian landscape. Colorful red, white and blue buildings are depicted to the center, set among green fields, intersecting country roads and dense groves of deep green trees. The work is unsigned and presented without glass in a wooden frame with moulded embellishments and gold tone finish, fitted with hanging string to the verso.

- tear to canvas at upper center; craquelure, discoloration and surface wear to composition; inpainting present along top; chips, scuffs, abrasions, edge wear and nicks to frame; stains to canvas verso; no backing paper present.
