A mid century watercolor painting on paper by listed artist Ove Carl Svenson (Danish, 1880 – 1976). The Impressionist inspired piece depicts a row of rustic sunlit buildings, rendered in soft pastel hues against a tan ground. The work is signed ‘O. Svenson’ to the lower left. It is presented under glass in a wooden frame with silver tone finish, fitted with hanging string to the verso. The frame backing is marked with a mid-century gallery sticker from Hesselbergs Kunsthandel of Copenhagen.

- toning and discoloration to paper; scuffs, edge wear and finish loss throughout frame; ink markings and sticker to frame glass; wear to frame verso.
