A mid century oil painting on canvas by Danish artist Kongslev (20th century). The work depicts a Scandinavian coastal landscape, with seagulls and waterfowl flying over white sands and green beach vegetation. To the foreground is a winding path that leads to a small rowboat. The work is signed ‘Kongslev’ in black paint to the lower right. It is presented without glass in a wooden frame with gold tone finish, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

- dent to canvas at lower right; uneven toning, discoloration and stains to surface of painting; chips and media loss to upper left, upper right and center; white marks near signature; inpainting along bottom; scuffs, edge wear and nicks to frame finish; no backing paper present.
