A mid century oil painting on canvas signed ‘C.C.R.’. The Realist-style work depicts a warm interior scene that includes a desk, chairs and chaise lounge set among two rooms decorated with floral bouquets, colorful sheer curtains and hanging paintings. Sunlight streams through the paned windows, casting light and shadow throughout the room. The work is signed in brown paint to the lower left. It is presented without glass in a wooden frame with gold tone finish, fitted with hanging string to the verso.

- to fair; dent to canvas with media loss to lower left; stain and accretion to canvas at lower left; minor discoloration to composition; work has been relined with wax; scuffs, marks and edge wear to frame; no backing paper present.
