A circa 1960s copper sailboat sculpture created by Curtis Jeré, the name used by collaborative artists and designers Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels (American, 20th century). The Modernist style piece depicts a sloop with billowing headsail and a small flag blowing in the breeze mounted to the mast. The work is mounted to an asymmetrical brown and white quartz base signed ‘Jere’ to the top.

Condition

- tarnish, discoloration and marks to copper throughout; edge wear, sharp edges and surface wear to metal; some pieces are bent; ink stain to top of base.
