An oil painting on canvas titled Light in Time by American artist Caleb Meyer (born 1982). Before striking out on his own as an artist, Meyer was an apprentice of the nationally known artist Robert Moore. This Impressionistic piece depicts a mountain range in the background with a meandering river lined by trees in fall foliage to the foreground. In the distance can be seen figures traversing the river. The work is signed to the lower left as well as signed and titled to the verso. It is presented in a composite wood frame with wire to the verso for hanging. An informational biography about the artist is attached to the hanging wire.
