Chinese Carved Soapstone Sculptural Vases

Stone

A group of four Chinese carved soapstone vases. These pieces each feature a small vase with budding sprigs and leaves either emerging from or cradling the hollowed body of the dish. Three are carved from a pink and light brown veined stone and the fourth from a speckled brown stone. They have flat backs and no maker’s marks.
