A 20th century pastel drawing on toned, loose paper of figures. This Cubist style drawing depicts figures posed in an interlocking manner, rendered with thick, curvaceous linework reinforced with linear scribbles and smudged layers of blue, ochre and brown tones. The drawing is unsigned.

Condition

- to fair; wear and staining to the edges of the paper; smudges to the surface of the drawing; foxing to the right edge of the paper; staining to the bottom left; puncture marks to the corners of the image from previous mounting; to the verso, pastel marks and staining.
