An oil painting on canvas of a bucolic landscape by Norwegian artist Lejs Schjelderup (1856-1933), under the pseudonym Georg Elias Schjeldrup. This piece depicts a rural scene in which the roofs of houses peek over a gently sloping hill beneath a sky filled with puffy white clouds. It is signed to the lower left corner and presented in a gold tone wood frame with string to the verso for hanging.

- heavy craquelure and loss of paint to upper margin of painting; accretion present to painting and frame; wear to edges of frame; accretion to upper left corner.
