Vintage Heppelwhite-Style Mahogany Buffet
Item Details
A vintage, circa 1950s, Heppelwhite-style mahogany buffet with marquetry inlay. The buffet has a rectangular top with a bowed center, and straight sides, accented with an inlaid, stylized running vine and leaf border. There are three center bow-front drawers with intricate inlaid wood floral designs, fitted with ornate round silver tone metal knobs, and the top drawer has divided compartments. The drawers are flanked by cabinets with recessed panels and round metal knobs, and the interiors are fitted with shelves. The buffet has Regency carved stiles, and it rests on a flush molded base. No maker’s marks.
