A James W. Tufts silver plate inkwell set. The set comes with an oblong shaped tray on ball feet and a figure on one end wearing draped clothing. The tray comes with two small dishes with a repousse beaded design around the rim and a larger dish with fluted details along the rim and a repousse floral design on the body. The set bears the makers marks on the base.
