A limited edition The Cardinal sterling silver collector plate from 1972 by The Franklin Mint, designed by Richard Evans Younger. This piece features an image of a cardinal bird resting on a blossoming dogwood tree branch to the center of the well. It is marked to the underside with the maker’s mark, ‘Solid Sterling Silver’, and numbered “5291”, copyrighted 1972. The plate comes with a presentation case and a certificate of authenticity. The approximate weight is 6.260 ozt.
