Antique French Copper Watering Can, Late 18th to Early 19th Century

An antique French copper watering can, late 18th to early 19th century. The hand-hammered can features a round top with an oblong opening above a dovetailed, cylindrical body with a bulging waist flanked by two handles and an angled spout with a non-detachable rose. There are no maker’s marks.

Condition

- polished with scattered dings, scuffs/marks, and repairs; some oxidation/tarnishing, mostly to interior and to underside.
