Item Details
A set of five early Shōwa period hand-painted Japanese porcelain plates. The decorative plates feature seated figures in bright colorful attire on bands of red, white, and brown ground with textured dotted and linear accents. The vintage plates are stamped with a red rising sun emblem over ‘Nippon’ (本日) to the underside and were produced in Japan between 1926-45.
