Antique Oak Hoosier Cabinet
Item Details
An antique oak Hoosier cabinet. This cabinet features a medium oak finish, with five cupboard doors to the top, each opening to white painted interior shelves and a metal dispenser box; one drawer opens to a clock-shaped Hoosier ‘Want List’ with hands pointing to needed sundries such as maple sugar, hominy, and ‘washing soda.’ The lower section features a three drawers and one cabinet door that opens to an interior two-shelf storage with an interior magazine rack. The entire structure rests on four casters, with a Hoosier Manufacturing Company label to the back.

- currently disassembled in two pieces; marks and scratches to finish throughout; one door is broken and partially missing; breaks and separation to another cupboard door; paper labels discolored and heavily worn, with water marks; tarnish and dings to metal elements; interior paint worn and chipped; some white paint marks.
